Learning Resources has devised a range of FREE home learning activities
As a family we love nothing more than getting outside and learning about the world where we live.
As our lockdown restrictions are getting tighter, the kids are struggling with not being able to get outside as often as they used to, but they still love to learn.
Learning Resources has devised a range of FREE home learning activities for 2-11s to help parents and children prepare to spend more time at home.
Visit the blog to discover activities that will help keep kids learning and engaged through meaningful play. The family-friendly resources include downloadable activity books for maths, science/STEM, language and reading support, animals and geography plus printable worksheets, activity sheets and play-based learning ideas to keep children busy indoors.
For 35 years, the company has been the leader in educational toys and games for children aged 2-11 years and has built up trusted relationships to help meet the needs of teachers, parents, carers and other learning mentors.

We have been spending lots of time in our garden and were excited to discover a pair of Blue Tits nesting in our birdbox. We have been using our Kidnoculars to watch them come and go and I have a giveaway to win one of two pairs of Kidnoculars, running on my sister site at the moment.

Oh wow, how lovely. This is such a great resource, it’s so lovely to see so many places helping out and providing learning during this unsettling time.
We have set up some bird boxes but we haven’t see anything in them. We do however have lots of lovely birds which like to spend time in our garden and it’s always so lovely to watch them.

Looks like a page full of great resources, having kids at home during this period I am often looking at things for them to do at home, so this helps.

This couldn’t come at a better time! We’re off to print some worksheets! Bird watching would be a great activity to do with kids!
