Planning a trip to Fuerteventura with the kids: 4 essential tips
If you’re thinking of planning a family trip to the Canary Islands in Spain, Fuerteventura should be high up on your list. With clear, shallow waters, a host of exciting activities, and an all-year-round sunny climate, it’s the perfect location to take the kids.
When organising your trip to this idyllic paradise, there are some essential tips to consider to ensure everything goes smoothly. Travelling with a young family can be particularly tough, so it’s best to prepare for the worst so everyone has a memorable and stress-free experience.

Choosing family-friendly accommodation
One of the most important considerations for your holiday is where you will be staying. Knowing what to pack
As with all the Canary Islands, Fuerteventura is warm for more than 300 days of the year. You must pack suitable clothing for yourself and the kids to cover up when in the sun, as well as sunglasses with 100% protection from both UVA and UVB rays.
The dress code in Fuerteventura is fairly casual, so lightweight natural fabrics, shorts, t-shirts, and camisoles are perfectly acceptable.
