Christmas Lights at Minterne House and Gardens
We were first introduced to Minterne House and Gardens in Minterne Magna, Dorchester back in October for their Halloween Trail.
Now Minterne House has introduced an all-new winter lights attraction, running from 6th December – 4th January.
During this time, the stately home and Himalayan garden comes alive with woodland creatures, fairies, sprites and dragons, alongside the magical light displays to delight all the family.
The trail is a similar length to the Halloween trail, however runs in the opposite direction through the gardens.
The trail itself is well lit, but on our visit it was raining and it was a little boggy in places, so I would recommend wearing wellies, or walking boots.
Hot drinks and snacks are available to purchase next to the house at the beginning / end of the trail, with an undercover seating area available.
It was a lovely evening out exploring all the light displays and we really appreciated the mulled wine and hot chocolate after a rather damp and chilly walk around.
Entry costs £17.50 per adult and £8.50 for children.
