Bournemouth's Christmas Tree Wonderland 2018
It has felt like Bournemouth has had the same Christmas decorations for the last decade, but this year things are changing with their FREE Christmas Tree Wonderland, set in Bournemouth Gardens.
Open until 2nd January 2019, we started our walk from the top of West Cliff, down past the BIC towards Bournemouth Pier and the first sign that something was different was the glowing lights in front of us.
We were initially disappointed to find that the Bournemouth Wheel was closed, despite being advertised as open until 8pm, so turned left at the first tree to be met with a magical display in front of us.
It is not just Christmas trees on display, we found a lovely nativity scene, a stunning waterfall effect and lit up gingerbread men and teddy bears.
The real highlight of the walk through the gardens is the giant Bournemouth Wonderland tree which you can walk underneath.
In the gardens is also Santaβs Grotto, skating under the stars which leads to an alpine market in the centre of the town, which serves the best Yorkshire Pudding wraps!!
Another highlight of Christmas in Bournemouth is the Upside Down House, which has landed in The Triangle.
Unlike the Christmas Tree Wonderland, the Upside Down House costs Β£4 per person to enter, but it is well worth it for the fun photo opportunities.
Upside Down House is the first of its kind inverted home in the UK, which provides customers with a zero-gravity illusion experience within a safe and family-friendly environment – in fact it takes some real getting used to once you are inside.
Walk on the ceiling, reach for the coffee table and capture every moment. To get the best effects then simply rotate your pictures on your smartphone or PC!
Don’t worry if you cannot get down to see it over the Christmas period, the Upside Down House will run untilΒ 30th June 2019.
Have you been down to see the Christmas Tree Wonderland yet?

The gardens look amazing and I love the upside down house. It is a bonus that most of it is free. I noticed Yorkshire pudding wraps in Bristol. Tasty but very messy.

This looks so fun! I have yet to do anything Christmas-y aside from decorating my house, but hopefully this weekend I can change that!
