#BrickorTreat at Legoland this half term week

Last weekend we took our little monsters to LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort and found ourselves getting into the Halloween spirit with their #BrickorTreat event!
They had lots of fun spook-tacular activities in the enchanted forest with a fun spooky walk though mist, hay bales and LEGO® characters.

There were lots of fun activities on offer including the chance to build your own LEGO® or DUPLO® pumpkin for the giant pumpkin patch, helping to build a huge Monster Mosaic and a spooky colouring tent.

Of course, no visit to Legoland Windsor would be complete without trying out some of the rides. Isaac is starting to get more adventurous and insisted on getting us wet on the rapids and the wave rider.

Whilst he headed off with Daddy to do the Tomb Raider, I took Eliza and Sebastian to the family favourite, Pirates of Skeleton Bay show.

We were lucky enough to meet the pirates afterwards and I was shocked when they admitted the water was just 13° but they love putting on a show to delight the crowds.

There are also special shows in miniland to celebrate halloween and the change to spot some ghosts floating around and meet Lord Vampyre and his Brick or Treat friends! If you are prepared to stay until 7pm, there is an impressive fireworks show, joining the LEGO® NEXO KNIGHTS as they battle the evil Jestro through a stunning lights display! I highly recommend your buy a pair of LEGO® 3D Brick glasses for £1.50 as they transform the fireworks into exploding LEGO® bricks.

The unmissable Fireworks shows are held on 15th, 22nd, 23rd, 28th, 29th October and 5th November and #BrickorTreat runs until 5th November.

How clever that the 3D glasses turn the fireworks in to lego bricks. I bet that is a sight to see. LEGOland is such great fun

Looks like you had an awesome time! I’m going to try Legoland again next year, I think mine were too young when we last went and it was a bit of a disaster x

Are we nearly there yet? is a new online blog run by me, Kara Guppy, and is named as such thanks to my daughter Eliza who always asks that very question when we are less than 5 minutes up the road heading off on our adventures. You may know me from my other family blog chelseamamma.co.uk
