It is the final episode of Game of Thrones tonight and I cannot wait to see how it all ends.

For those Game of Thrones fans that are commiserating at that thought of their favourite show coming to an end at the end of eight seasons, travel app, Klook, knows the most thrilling Game of Thrones set locations from around the world that fans can experience first hand:

Old Town DubrovnikCroatia

Brave where most of the action is shot in the streets of the capital of Westeros, Kings Landing. Drogon not included!

2. Lake Mývatn & Grjótagjá cavesIceland

Experience for yourself the Grjótagjá geothermal caves at Lake Mývatn in Iceland where Jon Snow and Ygritte had their romantic rendezvous.

3. Alcazar of SevilleSpain

Marvel at the Alcazar of Seville, the beautiful location of Sunspear and the Dornish home of House Martell.

4. Girona, Spain

There is no place for intrigue like the free city of Braavos filmed in Girona near Barcelona. Also home to the Great Sept of Baelor in Kings Landing – when it was still standing

5. Ballintoy Harbour and Dunluce CastleIreland and Northern Ireland

Visit the ruins of Harrenhal Castle and the Iron Islands of House Greyjoy from Belfast or Dublin in a day.

In fact, Northern Ireland has over 20 Game of Thrones filming locations to visit, which can be done in day if you start early enough!!

Dark Hedges - Kings Road

Don’t miss out the Game of Thrones tapestry at Ulster Museum too!!

I’m a bit annoyed I didn’t get to see more of the Icelandic locations when I was there in November. The caves I did see were v similar to that though

It would be really neat to see these places in person! It is cool to even just see them on your blog and out of context of the show.
