Thomas was such a big feature in our family when my eldest was young, I still miss him now after nearly 30 years. There are so many fabulous places you can meet Thomas now, back then we had to wait for events about twice a year. I’m glad to see he’s still bringing big smiles to little faces. x

Oh I so want to see Thomas. We have him coming up north to one of the railway stations in May so I think we’re going to go visit!

We saw Thomas on the Watercress Line many years ago. It’s such a fabulous day out.

Are we nearly there yet? is a new online blog run by me, Kara Guppy, and is named as such thanks to my daughter Eliza who always asks that very question when we are less than 5 minutes up the road heading off on our adventures. You may know me from my other family blog chelseamamma.co.uk
