Preserving holiday memories with a photo book
Preserving holiday memories seems even more important now we are in lockdown and our walls are filled with images of our favourite travels.
We enjoyed the holiday of a lifetime to Iceland in October 2019 and although I have shared our adventures on the blog, I had yet to do anything with the pictures.
I was invited to review a service with www.my-picture.co.uk/ and because I could not choose just one photograph to print, I chose to make a high quality photo book of our holiday.
It was really easy to do, I chose my layout and how many pages I wanted. I uploaded my pictures to the site and chose to automatically add them. They all added by the date the photo was taken, which was exactly how I wanted them and then all I had to do was make a couple of tweaks to a couple of photo’s so that they were centred how I wanted them.
I was absolutely astounded when my book arrived three days after ordering and I can honestly say it is the best photo book I have ever ordered.
The paper and picture quality is second to none and we have all spent time looking through the pictures and remembering the places we visited.
There are seven types of photo book to choose from and I opted for the Imperial Photo Paper (£40), which has 26 lab-quality photo-paper pages with the choice of a matte or glossy finish, premium lay-flat hardback cover in landscape format and any subsequent double-page costs only £2.75.
It is the perfect gift to help you remember a special day or a holiday of a lifetime and I know our book will be treasured for years to come. Visit https://www.mixbook.com/education-photo-books to get ideas on your photobooks theme.
