Swimfin – the holiday essential for inexperienced swimmers
Are you planning on taking your child on a winter sunshine break, or are travelling within the UK to somewhere with a pool and have a non or poor swimmer?
I would like to introduce you to SwimFin which is an AWESOME swimming aid that is loads of fun for children and spectators alike. I first heard of it a couple of years back when it was used in Kian’s swimming lessons and it always drew lots of good remarks for being fun yet functional.
My youngest son, Sebastian, has been swimming since he was 3 months old with Turtle Tots, but always being held by me or on a woggle so introducing the SwimFin was a completely different experience for him.
Then SwimFin positions swimmers in the water in a more natural swimming position with their chin touching the water with their legs down and at first Sebby was dunk his head in the water as he wasn’t used to it but he has taken just 4 lessons to gain enough confidence to leap into the pool and swim across to me completely unaided.
Of course, there is no substitute for safety so it is important to remain on watch at all times in and around water but the SwimFin is the perfect swimming aid to help your child learn to swim or take on holiday with you to give your child some independence in the water and is suitable for children aged 2 upwards through to adulthood. Of course they make great Christmas presents too.
The lovely team at SwimFin have offered me one in the colour of the winners choice to giveaway to one lucky reader.
